Northwest of Lawton, at the gateway to the Wichita Mountains.
Living in Medicine Park
A cobblestone resort town on Medicine Creek.
Medicine Park began as a resort town in the early 1900s, and its red cobblestone buildings are still what you notice first. Medicine Creek runs through the middle of town, with Lake Lawtonka just beyond it and the wildlife refuge at its doorstep.
Homes here are fewer and more varied than anywhere else in the area, from original cobblestone cabins to newer builds on the hillsides. Listings are scarce, so if this is the place you want, tell me early and I'll watch for it.

Schools
School assignment depends on the exact address, so confirm it with the district before you buy. The state publishes a report card for every public school at Oklahoma School Report Cards.
Getting to Fort Sill
Drive time depends on the gate you use and the time of day, and gate hours change. The reliable way to check is to map it from a specific address at the hour you'd be driving.
